We're updating this guideline with new legislation
Here's what’s changed:
- We may now ask you for specific information or a report that helps us make an eligibility decision.
- We'll support you to get this information and you'll have at least 90 days to respond.
- We won’t make a decision about your eligibility if it was reasonable for you to not provide the information in that time.
Please download the guideline for the latest information, while we update the website over the coming weeks.
Leaving the NDIS
There are different reasons you might leave the NDIS.
For most participants, it’s a choice to leave. You might not want to be a participant anymore because you have met your goals.
Or you might not meet the eligibility requirements anymore.
There are different processes for leaving the NDIS depending on the reason you’re leaving.
If you leave, you’re no longer a participant, and won’t be able to get NDIS supports. NDIS supports are the services, items and equipment that can be funded by the NDIS. If you leave we can still help you connect to other government and community services and if things change, you can apply again.
