Medium term accommodation

We generally fund medium term accommodation so you have somewhere to live if you can't move into your long-term home because your disability supports aren't ready.

To be eligible, you must have a home you’ll move into and you need somewhere else to live in the medium term. We usually fund medium term accommodation for up to 90 days.

We’ll consider whether you’re engaged with other mainstream systems, such as health or justice.

When we say disability support needs, we mean supports you need for the impairments that meet the disability or early intervention requirements, or both.
